Organised by the Beijing Olympic City Development Centre and co-organised by the Beijing Olympic Museum, the Olympic Culture Lecture is designed to spread the Olympic spirit, promote Olympic culture and boost exchanges and mutual learning among civilisations, highlighting the unique feature of Beijing as a dual Olympic city. Experts in sports, culture, education and other fields are invited to give lectures and interact with the public on an ad-hoc basis. The Olympic Culture Lecture aims to develop into a flagship Olympic culture programme that helps build a cultural meet-the-world lounge in Beijing, carry forward the Olympic legacy and leverages the unique role of Olympic development organisations in international exchanges to facilitate Beijing’s role as a centre for international exchanges.

Representatives from the China Sports Museum, Nanjing Olympic Museum and other members of the Olympic Museums Network also attended the event, alongside staff of the Beijing Olympic City Development Centre and Beijing Olympic Museum. The event was live streamed on xuexi.cn and the BRTV mobile app.
