On February 11, 2023, the “Passionate Olympics, Shared Future” Olympic culture fair opened at the Flag Mall in the south of the Beijing Olympic Forest Park. Present at the opening ceremony were Mr. Jiang Xiaoyu, Vice Chairman of Beijing Olympic City Development Association (“BODA”), Mr. Fu Xiaohui, Secretary General of BODA, other senior officials of BODA, and Ms. Chen Lu, world champion in figure skating.
At the opening ceremony, the commemorative emblem for the first anniversary of Beijing 2022 was unveiled via video link. Mr. Gao Yunchao, Deputy Secretaty General of BODA, presented the anniversary emblem as a donation to Beijing Collectors' Association.

The Olympic culture fair is part of the first anniversary celebration activities of the Beijing 2022 Games, which is hosted by BODA and organised by Beijing Olympic Museum. The Olympic culture fair presents a diverse range of activities featuring the Olympic culture, Chinese New Year traditions and intangible cultural heritage, as well as a fair for Olympic badges, souvenirs and collectibles. By creating an engaging and lively atmosphere, the event aims to bring back the fond memories of the Beijing 2022 Games, immerse people in the Olympic culture, help them better understand the spirit of the Beijing 2022 Games and inspire them to carry forward the spirit and forge ahead on a new journey. The event receives strong support from the Chinese Olympic Committee, the Sports Equipment Centre of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Institute for Olympic Art at Tsinghua University, the Sports Committee of Beijing Collectors’ Association, Beijing HONAV Group and China Post.
The Olympic culture fair consists of an Olympic badge display and exchange zone, an Olympic artifact display zone and an intangible cultural heritage interaction zone. Among them, the “Passion of Ice and Flame・Olympic Badge Exhibition” in the Olympic badge display and exchange zone showcases more than 4,000 badges in 936 standard display boxes provided by 60 collectors from 12 provinces, autonomous regions and provincial-level cities across China.

In the badge exchange zone, Mr. Xia Boguang, one of the collectors, said he was thrilled to meet so many old and new friends in the badge collection community and make a swap for the long-anticipated limited-edition badge for the closing ceremony of Beijing 2022, hoping similar activities could be held in the future.

The Olympic artifact display zone showcases the cloud-patterned ski suit worn by Su Yiming at Beijing 2022, the dragon-patterned ski suit worn by Gu Ailing at Beijing 2022 with her signature, the training helmet worn by Wu Dajing, Beijing 2022 licensed products, and official posters of various editions of the Olympic Games.

The intangible cultural heritage interaction zone features Cloth Tiger, Wuqiang County's Chinese New Year paintings and other Chinese traditional handcrafts, as well as a variety of cultural activities.

The Olympic culture fair will last two days till February 12. Particular groups and individuals are invited to attend the event.
