As a venue for "Experience Beijing" ice sports testing series, testing games were started in Wukesong Sports Center on April 4. The "basketball stadium" that once served the Beijing 2008 Olympics now becomes a stadium with a convertible ice rink of 30 meters x 60 meters or 26 meters x 60 meters. It can host ice hockey, short courses speed skating and figure skating by switching the size of the ice rink.

A few minutes walk from Wukesong Gymnasium, you will arrive at the Wukesong Ice Sports Center, or "Ice Diamond", the world's largest ultra-low energy consumption sports building. The sports center completed renovation in December 2020 and built 6 Winter Olympics standard locker rooms, as well as massage rooms, coaching rooms, knife sharpening rooms, meal preparation areas and other amenities.
