Gao Yunchao, deputy secretary general of Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA), gives an introduction to the event at a news briefing.

The Expo included an outdoor exhibition for the first time to spread the popularity of ice and snow sports, and offer visitors opportunities to experience such sports, and an indoor exhibition which focused on showing the preparations for the 2022 Winter Olympics, the latest technologies and services in the global ice and snow sports industry as well as achievements in international and domestic cooperation. The combination of outdoor and indoor exhibitions gave visitors a fresh perspective.
