Makeup artists for ceremonial volunteers stage first training

(BEIJING, July 2) -- The ceremonial volunteers of Beijing 2008 will be the beautiful scenery during the Games. Many people are working behind the scenes to ensure the beauty of the volunteers, including their makeup artists. In conjunction with BOCOG, Yi Ming Studio, which is responsible for making-up the ceremonial volunteers, recently held a training session for the make-up artists.

During the award ceremonies for the "Good Luck Beijing" sporting events, the volunteers' dignified hairstyles and elegant makeup were greatly appreciated. The training summarized this experience and discussed the makeup process in detail. Although the team of makeup artists, which was led by Yi Ming himself, is already well qualified, each member greatly appreciated the training.

The makeup artists believe that image is the first calling card. They want to show the world the style of China's youth, thus providing China's image with a combination of youth and tradition.
