Spectators Guide

The Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium is positioned on the central axis of the University, at 30 XUEYUAN Road Haidian District. The straight lines and strong sculptured blocks of the exterior design, with well-placed metal work reflecting both the calm and power of judo and taekwondo, display the strength and beauty of sports.

Entry and Transport

a) Entry

During the Olympic Games, only the north, south and west campus gates are open to the public.

b) Transport

Olympic Bus Lines: No.7 (runs between North Bus Depot of Olympic Green and XIZHIMEN); No.8 (runs between West Bus Depot and WUKESONG QIAODONG); K17 (between ERLIZHUANG and DITIE ZHICHUNLU)

City Bus Lines: South gate: 47, 386, 656, 660, 696, 751, 753, 836, 740 (outer and fast), T9, Yuntong 109 and Yuntong 113 lines; North gate: 307, 484, 630, 690 and 836 lines; West gate: 26, 331, 375, 392, 398, 438, 478, 484, 490, 632, 656, 693, 743, 753, 810, 836 and Yuntong 103 lines.

Opening hours: Two hours prior to start of competition

Walking distances: South gate to Gymnasium: approximately 200 meters

North gate to Gymnasium: approximately 300 meters

West gate to Gymnasium: approximately 400 meters
