Capital Gymnasium

The Capital Gymnasium, 5 BAISHIQIAO of XIZHIMEN Outer Street in Haidian District, was built in the 1960s. In preparation for the volleyball competitions, it has been refurbished and presents a brand new appearance to spectators.

Entry and Transport

a) Entry

The south and west entries are open to spectators. Wheelchair users can enter via the security check point at the west entry. The elevators in the west wing of the gymnasium will take them directly to the barrier-free seating area.

b) Transport

Olympic Bus Line: K24 (runs between BAISHIQIAO and XUANWUMEN); K25 (runs between BAISHIQIAO NAN and Beijing West Railway Station); No.8 (runs between West Bus Depot of Olympic Green and WUKESONG QIAODONG).

Subway: Line 2 or 13 to XIZHIMEN and then change to the Olympic bus.

City Bus Lines: 105, 107, 111, 114, 15, 206, 209, 211, 27, 320, 332, 334, 347, 360, 360 Express, 601, 653, 695, 714, 717, 727, 732, 804, 808, 814, 827, 904, Special 5, Special 6, Yuntong 104, Yuntong 105 lines. Stops are at XIZHIMEN Outer Street, ZHONGGUANCUN South Street and SHOUDU TIYUGUAN South Road.
