Venues at Beijing Shooting Range
They are situated at the foot of the beautiful, lush forested Western Hills of Beijing. There are two competition sites: Beijing Shooting Range Hall and Beijing Shooting Range CTF.
Beijing Shooting Range Hall
This is on the south side of the complex, adjacent to XIANGSHAN South Road. It comprises a qualification hall and a final hall, linked by an overhead walkway. The design of ht building is inspired by an ancient hunting instrument, the bow and arrow. All 11 shooting events, qualifying rounds and finals, will be held here. Qualifying events and finals have separate tickets.
Beijing Shooting Range CTF
This is on the north side of the complex, close to Cuiwei Mountain. The concept of the main structures is the traditional courtyard house of Beijing, with outer walls of grey brick decorated with plain woodwork. The six shooting galleries are strung together like beacon towers along the Great Wall.
