Competition Rules

The Volleyball competition at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be held in accordance with the FIVB Official Volleyball Rules, Edition 2005-2008, and the Olympic Charter, in force at the time of the Beijing 2008Olympic Games. Pursuant to the Olympic Charter, FIVB assumes the responsibility for the technical control and direction of Volleyball in the Olympic Games. In case of disagreement on the interpretation of these rules or regulations, the English version shall prevail.
