Competition Rules

The rowing competition at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be held in accordance with the FISA Rule Book and the Olympic Charter.Pursuant to the Olympic Charter, FISA assumes the responsibility for the technical control and direction of Rowing in the Olympic Games.

Appointment of Technical Officials

Nominated by FISA, international technical officials will be in charge ofcompetition. Following FISA rules, national technical officials will beappointed by BOCOG.
