Technical Officials Guide

The purpose of the Technical Officials Guide is to ensure that all the Technical Officials are well informed about the services available to them throughout Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Section one outlines general information about China, Beijing and the Olympic Games.

Section two is about Enforcement of the Olympic Charter – Rule 51.

Section three provides information on the arrival and departure procedures, the accreditation process, catering, accommodation, uniform, per diem distribution, transport, medical services, security, ticketing, commemorative medals and certificates.

Section four includes sport related information such as the competition schedule, competition procedures, and venue information.

BOCOG has made every effort to ensure that the information contained in this guide is correct and up-to-date at the time of publication. Noting that this project involves so many aspects that it would be hard to fit them in one guide, and changes may occur as the Games is drawing near, Technical Officials are advised to check with Sport Information Desks located at their accommodation sites and venues and INFO2008 terminals regarding any further and detailed information not included in this guide.
