Competition Rules

The Modern Pentathlon competition at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be held in accordance with the rules of the Union Internationale De Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM), the Laws of Modern Pentathlon as contained in the Statutes book and the Olympic Charter, in force at the time of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Pursuant to the Olympic Charter, UIPM assumes the responsibility for the technical control and direction of Modern Pentathlon in the Olympic Games.
