Competition Format

Heats, semifinals and finals will be held in each event. The number of Kayaks or Canoes in each heat and in the final must not exceed nine (9).

In the finals, the first boat whose bow crosses the finish line, with all crew members in it will win.

Draw

The division into heats will be based on the previous World Championships finals A/B/C; the boats in accordance with the plan concerned in each heat will proceed to a higher round; from the semifinals, the boats in accordance with the plan concerned will proceed to the final.

The distribution of lanes for semifinals and finals will in accordance with the Division System by ICF Rules.
