Competition Rules

The baseball tournament will be held in accordance with the Rules of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF), the Olympic Technical/ Organization Rules and the Olympic Charter, in force at the time of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. In case of disagreement on the interpretation of these rules, the English version shall prevail.

Pursuant to the Olympic Charter, IBAF assumes the responsibility for the technical control and direction of its sport at the Olympic Games.
