CHINA:
Up to November 5, 2007, China has 101 person-time in 20 events meeting the A qualifying standard of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, among which there are 41 person-time in 8 men’s events and 60 person-time in 12 women’s events meeting the A qualifying standard of Olympic Games; there are 11 person-time in 9 events meeting the B qualifying standard, in which there are 10 person-time in 8 men's events and 1 person-time in 1 women’s events except women’s 4×100 relay. The men’s events meeting A standard include marathon, 110m hurdle, 20km Race Walk, 50 km Race Walk, high jump, pole vault, long jump and triple jump; The women’s events meeting A standard include 5,000m, 10,000m, marathon, 3,000m SC, 400m hurdle, 20km Race Walk and some field events.
The events meeting the B qualifying standard include men’s 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 10,000m, 400m hurdle, javelin throw, Decathlon and women’s high jump.
