
(BEIJING, May 24) -- Technical officials and chief classifiers for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games started a four-day meeting in Beijing on Saturday.
Technical officials and specialists from the International Paralympic Committee, chief classifiers from international sports federations -- in charge of the classification of athletes for the Beijing Paralympics -- and representatives of BOCOG will discuss in detail issues related to the Paralympics, including accreditation, accommodation, transport, media and communications and sports applications, as well as policies and procedures related to classification.
Participants of the meeting will also tour Paralympic venues and talk with different departments within BOCOG and with venue teams.
