
(BEIJING, May 20) -- BOCOG and IPC members convened here on Monday to begin the 4th Beijing Paralympic task force meeting.
BOCOG's various departments in charge of 18 Paralympic areas, including ticketing, the Torch Relay, the opening and closing ceremonies, education, the Paralympic Village, barrier-free facilities, and marketing, will report on the progress of preparations during the three-day meeting. Discussions will also be held with the relevant IPC departments.
Present at the meeting were IPC Chief Executive Officer Xavier Gonzalez and Zhao Wenzhi, deputy commander-in-chief of headquarters for preparatory work of the Beijing Paralympic Games. Members of the IPC and relevant BOCOG staff also attended the meeting.
