Li Ye wins men's 500m short track speed skating gold

QIQIHAR, Northeast China, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Li Ye, men's 500mand 1500m short track speed skating bronze medallist at the 6th Asian Winter Games, won men's 500m short track speed skating gold at the 11th National Winter Games here on Saturday.

Changchun's Li Ye, 24, timed in 42.403 seconds for the top honor. Changchun's Li Haonan won the silver in 42.489 seconds and Liu Xiaoliang from Qiqihar finished third in 42.597 seconds.
