Wang Meng wins women's 1,500 meters short track speed skating gold

QIQIHAR, Northeast China, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- Wang Meng, Turin Olympic women's 500m titlist, won women's 1,500m short track speed skating gold at the 11th National Winter Games here on Friday.

Wang Meng, 23, finished in two minutes 21.608 seconds. Changchun's Zhou Yang came in the second in 2:21.680. The bronze medal went to Sun Linlin, who clocked in 2:21.808.
