Japanese judoka Satoshi Ishii claimed the Men's +100kg title at the Beijing Olympics on Friday, beating Abdullo Tangriev from Uzbekistan in the final.

The bronze medals went to Oscar Brayson from Cuba and Teddy Riner from France.
