(BEIJING, August 15) -- Ishii Satoshi, competing in his first Olympic Games at the age of 21, won the last Judo gold of the Beijing Olympics by defeating Abdullo Tangriev from Uzbekistan with a yuko in the Men's +100kg weightclass. The Japanese judoka was the silver medalist at the 2006 Doha Asian Games.
Oscar Brayson of Cuba defeated Mohammad Reza Rodaki of Iran with two waza-ari to claim the first of two bronze medals in the event. Brayson won gold at World Cup in Prague this year. Teddy Riner of France beat Lasha Gujejiani of Georgia with an ippon to win the second bronze medal. Riner was European and world champion in 2007.
