The Men's 73kg Judo event was held at the University of Science and Technology Beijing Gymnasium on day three of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on August 11, 2008, in Beijing, China. Elnur Mammadli of Azerbaijan beat Wang Kichun of the Republic of Korea by ippon to take the gold medal. The bronze medal was shared by Rasul Boqiev of Tajikistan and Leandro Guilheiro of Brazil.
