| Continental Qualification | Men Five (5) continental champions: - Africa: Africa Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament - America: 15th Pan American Games - Asia: 15th Asian Games - Europe: 11th EuroHockey Nations Championship for Men - Oceania: 5th Oceania Cup Three (3) teams also to be determined at the above mentioned continental tournaments on the basis that China is not also the Continental Champion. |
