BANGKOK, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Australian national soccer team has pocketed a ticket to next year's Olympic Games in Beijing after drawing 1-1 with DPRK at an away match on Wednesday.
Mark Milligan scored a contentious goal in the 70th minute to cancel out Pak Chol-min's 10th minute opener.
The tie put Australia on top with 12 points in Group A of the Asian qualifiers, meaning even a win for Iraq (8 points) over Lebanon later Wednesday would not be enough for it to top the group.
