The number of places allocated to different National Olympic Committees (NOCs) for the Olympic road events (road race and time trial) in the Elite Women’s category has been finalized by the UCI on June 5th.
The list of NOCs qualified for the women’s events in Beijing was established after the publication of the world ranking for Elite Women on 31 May 2008. The places were distributed according to the nations ranking and individual ranking and according to the current regulations.
This distribution will evolve according to the confirmations from the CNOs and the final redistribution will take place between now and July 2008.
