Houston Rockets center Yao Ming is to report to the team on October 3 after taking part in the opening ceremony of the 2007 Special Olympics in Shanghai.
The "small giant" released his schedule on Tuesday while attending a promotion activity of a sports wear brand in Beijing.
Earlier reports said Yao is to pay a fine of 27,500 U.S. dollars for his absence from the team's pre-season training sessions and a Media Day activity of the Rockets.
The club has sent a group to Shanghai to help the 7-foot-6 player keep on track with his team-mates in Houston.
