Flash: Jamaican clean sweep in Women's 100m

(BEIJING, August 16) -- Shelly-Ann Fraser of Jamaica has been crowned the world's fastest woman after winning the final of the Women's 100m in a time of 10.78 seconds at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Her Jamaican teammates Kerron Stewart and Sherone Simpson share the silver in an identical running time of 10.98s.

Yuliya Nestsiarenka of Belarus was the defending Olympic gold medalist in the event, but she failed to make the final.
