Beijing sets up Olympic volunteer kiosks

(BEIJING, June 23) -- Starting June 22, a total of 550 "Volunteer Cubes" are being set up around Beijing, according to the Beijing Daily.

The kiosks, decorated with volunteerism posters on the outside and with room for four to eight volunteers as well as communication materials and medicine, are being set up near the city's tourist spots, commercial centers and Olympic venues and will be put into use as of July 1 -- 38 days before the start of the Beijing Olympics.
