Beijing Subway line 10 ready for test run

(BEIJING, March 6) -- Preparations for a test run for line 10 of the Beijing subway have been completed, Xinhua reported.

The project, including the Olympic Lateral, is a semi-loop line with a width of 24.55km. It goes along the Third Ring Road from northwest to southeast Beijing, passing through Haidian, Chaoyang and Fengtai Districts. The 5.91km Olympic Lateral starts from the exit on Anding Road and ends at the Olympic Green where many Olympic venues are located.

The newspaper has found that the line's operating regulations are already in place and related training processes have been finished. Over 500 station heads, control personnel, safety supervisors, drivers, and maintainance staff have been assigned to their posts after being trained in the areas of professionalism and etiquette.
