(BEIJING, Sept. 1) -- Beijingers experienced 28 "blue sky" days among the past 31 days in August and Beijing recorded 161 days of level I and II air quality in previous 8 months this year, according to the municipal environmental watchdogs.
The traffic control implemented on August 17-20 helped the city achieved four "blue skies" and reduced 15% to 20% air pollutants.
There will be 84 more days to fulfill the "blue sky" target featuring 245 blue sky days in 2007.
