(BEIJING, August 8) -- On the Count-down board for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the figure before Days changed from 1 to 0 at 12:00 a.m. on August 8, 2008, marking the day for the Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony.

The majority of the 205 Olympics members have already held their flag raising ceremony. All Olympic athletes are making final preparations, in hopes of achieving success during competition.

Tens of thousands of fortunate spectators who obtained tickets for the Opening Ceremony are waiting eagerly to witness the great moment.

August 8 is the busiest day for Beijing Capital International Airport. A number of private planes will land there carrying VIPs who will attend the Opening Ceremony. These VIPs include heads of state, heads of government and members of royal families. Among them are U.S. President George W. Bush, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Israel's President Shimon Peres.

Numerous people, who have made painstaking efforts for preparation of the Olympic Games, are expecting the most important moment in their life.

From Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia or the Americas, the whole word is anticipating the opening of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
