(BEIJING, July 6) -- The Main Press Center (MPC) of Beijing 2008 is all set to receive reporting teams from around the world. It serves as the reporting base for 5,600 written and photographic press organizations during the Olympic Games and will continue to serve as the reporting base for journalists during the Paralympic Games. The MPC is scheduled to open on July 8 and will operate on a 24-hour basis.
