(BEIJING, July 25) -- Overnight queues have appeared at Olympic ticket booths in Beijing after BOCOG announced on July 22 that a total of 820,000 Olympic tickets will be sold to domestic individuals at venue ticket booths beginning July 25.

To respond to the public's high level of interest, the Beijing Olympic Ticketing Center decided on Thursday night that venue ticket booths will adjust their sales procedures beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday to shorten queuing time. Each booth will publish its own specific sales measures.

Each buyer will be allowed to purchase at most two tickets for one session, as previously announced and relevant departments will crack down on speculative reselling practices. The ticketing center and the venue ticket booths will abide by the principles of openness and transparency and release information regarding remaining tickets in a timely manner
