National Stadium's Venue Media Center

Located in the center of the Olympic Green, the National Stadium is the largest competition venue for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, where the Opening and Closing ceremonies as well as Athletics and Football Men's Final will be held. It has the largest venue media centre of the Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

The press tribune has 1,000 tabled seats and 900 non-tabled seats-the same as Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. The tribune location will provide the media with a clear view of the competitions.

The workrooms at the National Stadium can host up to 500 journalists and 100 photographers.

The press conference room at National Stadium has a seating capacity of 300, allowing the media to conduct formal interviews with athletes, coaches and officials. Simultaneous interpretation service will be provided.

The National Stadium features a Media Lounge of 400 square meters. Catering services and a break area are available. Media will be able to follow the competition progress through CATV monitors and INFO2008 terminals.
