The Media Operations Department published the first issue of Media Information on the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games at the end of 2005 and distributed it to press organizations via National Olympic Committees. The Media Information introduced the progress of BOCOG Media Operations and such vital services as Accommodation, Accreditation, Transportation, Rate Card and Technology, etc, provided by various BOCOG functional areas.

Press by Number Accreditation process for Beijing Games will begin on March 1, 2007 with the distribution of Press by Number accreditation Guide (including forms), Press Accommodation Guide, Freight and Shipping Guide, Press Rate Card Catalogue and the second issue of Media Information.

Each accredited organization will receive one set of documents via the National Olympic Committees and is encouraged to return relevant forms to BOCOG Media Operations before the deadlines indicated in these documents.
