Beijing Olympic Art Exhibition Opens Exhibition to Last until May with over One Hundred Artworks Created by Famous Artists

The Beijing Olympic Art Exhibition opened at the Beijing Olympic Museum on 4 February 2024, which marks the second anniversary of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.

Covering a total area of about 1,000 square metres, the exhibition features more than 100 excellent artworks created by famous artists including Huang Yongyu, Han Meilin, Wu Weishan, Fan Zeng, Chen Danqing, Yuan Xikun, Zheng Shanlu, Yi Ming, Song Lianmin, Huang Jian and Sun Hong. These exhibits span such categories as Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, watercolour painting, sculpture and calligraphy. The exhibition will last until 10 May 2024.

According to the organiser, the reopened Beijing Olympic Museum after renovation boasts upgraded exhibition functions and expanded exhibition areas. The Beijing Olympic Art Exhibition takes place in the museum’s art exhibition zone, which is designed to host Olympic culture related exhibitions. In the future, special exhibitions on Olympic emblems, torches, pins, mascots, and songs will also be held in the zone, with the aim of promoting the Olympic spirit and Olympic culture among the public.
