(BEIJING, September 19) -- Russian language lessons are now a part of the Heart-to-Heart curriculum at Jingtong Primary School.
The purpose of the Russian lessons is to give students an opportunity to learn the official language of the school's Heart-to-Heart partner country -- Kyrgyzstan.
Russian majors from the Communication University of China gave a group of students and teachers their first lessons on Monday.
The students and teachers learned five letters of the Russian alphabet and how to say "hello," "my name is ..." and other simple phrases.
The enthusiastic students are excited for the next lesson and can't wait to practice their new Russian language skills with visitors from their Heart-to-Heart partners from Kyrgyzstan.
