(BEIJING, July 19) -- Painter Zhao Zhunwang's art exhibition, one of the 6th Beijing 2008 Olympic Cultural Festival items, opens in Beijing this morning.

Zhao Zhunwang is a world-famous countryside landscape painter. His works embody Chinese traditional culture while also containing rich modern elements. Zhao's great passion for the Beijing Olympic Games can be seen in over 50 works in this exhibition. These works show the changes and developments that the Olympic Games are bringing to Beijing. The city's symbolic buildings are rendered in artistic form, such as the Bird's Nest, National Aquatics Center and the Great Wall and so on.
