(BEIJING, September 11) -- Get ready for the 2007 Beijing BG Triathlon World Cup, which will be held at the Triathlon Venue in Changping from September 15-16, 2007, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. both days.
The women's competition will take place September 15, and the men's competition will take place September 16.
The Beijing BG Triathlon World Cup is the 12th competition of the 16-competition International Triathlon Union's World Cup series. The competition in Beijing will use the same course and rules as the Beijing 2008 Olympic Triathlon competition and is expected to attract more than 170 elite athletes from over 30 countries and regions.
The World Cup, a Type B event, is second only to the Triathlon World Championships.
All tickets for the 2007 Beijing BG Triathlon World Cup will cost 20 yuan and may be purchased starting two weeks prior to the event through the Good Luck Beijing ticketing website or via telephone. Three days prior to the event, tickets may be purchased at a designated sales point near the Ming Tombs Reservoir.
