The external "batfish" shape of the Beijing Institute of Technology Gymnasium is not the only distinguishing feature of the venue that will hold the Olympic Games Volleyball events and the Good Luck Beijing Goalball events. Moreover, the venue fully exhibits the core of a "Green Olympics," "High-tech Olympics," and" People's Olympics."
The newly inaugural gym will play host to the Olympic volleyball preliminaries and the Paralympic goalball competitions in 2008.
