Located at the Southern part of Olympic Sports Center, the Olympic Sports Center Stadium has been delivered and ready for pre-Games competitions.
After 17 months of renovations, the venue with a total area of 34,975 sq m has almost doubled its original capacity, seating up to 36,228 people. It will play host to the equestrian jumping and running events of the Modern Pentathlon at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
The 2007 Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final, one of the "Good Luck Beijing" series sport events, is slated to take place at the venue from September 15-16, 2007.
