'V' shaped Olympic Green Archery Field

(BEIJING, August 12) -- The Olympic Green Archery Field contains three fields: (from east to west) a 23-target field for competition warm-up and the ranking round; a field for both elimination and final rounds; and a field just for elimination rounds. The venue has a combined capacity for 5,384 spectators in the elimination round and final round fields.

Apart from the rest area, the warm-up field is flat. The 23 targets will be installed closer to competition time.

The most distinguishing feature of the venue is the "V" shape of the final round competition field, which is wide in the northern section and narrow in the southern section.
