A Bird's Nest that people love

The 333 meter long, 298 meter wide Bird's Nest stands without poles or structures in its middle. The structure stands in a bowl-shape, allowing for unobstructed view of the goings on in the venue, from each of the 91,000 seats in the audience stands.
A special wheelchair section has also been designed in the Bird's Nest, capable of satisfying more than 200 fans with disabilities. The seats in this area are higher than the normal seats, guaranteeing the same degree of viewing pleasure for everyone in the audience.[Full story] [Photos]

Twelve sets of staircases zigzag up and down the Bird's Nest　　In addition to elevators and regular staircases, there are 12 sets of zigzagging staircases in the Bird's Nest. Directed by clearly marked signs, spectators can use the staircases to reach the second and third floors.[Full story]
