(BEIJING, Dec. 18) -- With the rebuilding of the gymnasium of the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the supply of electricity has been greatly improved. Venue lighting now uses temporary diesel generators over the original dual-supply power system, and with rapid EPS devices, power blackouts will be controlled within 3 ms.
The new fire alarm system installed in the large gym has an air sampling detector whose warning time is triggered a lot quicker than the old fire detectors in the venue. Fire losses are thus minimized under the new alert system.
The previous monitoring scheme has been upgraded with intelligent management systems. Air conditioning, water pumps and lighting equipment are now operated under the new remote system, creating good economic returns for a comfortable, stable, secure, and energy efficient venue.
