    The overall athlete number across the four cycling disciplines is a target total
    of 500 athletes (men and women).

    MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ATHLETES PER NOC

    Individual events:An NOC can enter a maximum of 2 riders per individual event, except for the points race, for which the NOC is limited to only 1 rider per event (1 man and 1 woman). Team events: An NOC can enter 1 team per event The total number of riders per NOC for track events is 11 men and 3 women.

    ALLOCATION OF QUALIFICATION

    Qualification is allocated to the NOC

    ROAD:

    ATHLETE NUMBERS

    The overall athlete number across the four cycling disciplines is a target total of 500 athletes (men and women).

    MAXIMUM PER NOC

    Mass start events: If qualified through the UCI Nation rankings, an NOC can enter up to 5 men and 3 women. Otherwise, an NOC can enter a maximum of 2 riders per gender Time trial events: An NOC may enter 2 men and 2 women maximum

    ALLOCATION OF QUALIFICATION

    Qualification is attributed to the NOC

    MOUNTAIN BIKE

    ATHLETE NUMBERS

    The overall athlete number across the four cycling disciplines is a target total of 500 athletes (men and women).

    MAXIMUM PER NOC

    An NOC can enter a maximum of 3 men and 2 women

    ALLOCATION OF QUALIFICATION

    Qualification is allocated to the NOC

    BMX

    ATHLETE NUMBERS

    The overall athlete number across the four cycling disciplines is a target total of 500 athletes (men and women).

    MAXIMUM PER NOC

    The NOCs qualified by the UCI ranking by nation may enter a maximum of 3 men and 2 women. The NOCs qualified through criteria other than the UCI ranking by nation may enter only 1 man and 1 woman.

    ALLOCATION OF QUALIFICATION

    Qualification is allocated to the NOC.
