(BEIJING, June 29) -- Olympic collectors were in for two big treats on Sunday at the flagship Olympic gift shop in Wangfujing. Wang Yongfeng, captain of the Chinese Mountaineering Team was onsite to autograph a newly launched product -- a commemorative plaque celebrating the Torch Relay on Mt. Qomolangma. Wang was one of the torchbearers in the relay.

Priced at 9,980 yuan (about 1,440 U.S. dollars), the commemorative plaque features an 18-karat-gold relief design that shows Mt. Qomolangma, the Olympic torch and a Fuwa. A total of 6,666 commemorative plaques will be available to collectors.

"I hope that this licensed produced will carry on what will be the most unforgettable moment in my life," said Wang.

At the product's launching ceremony, BOCOG official Tang Yonghong presented Wang with a plaque of his own.
