Zang Aimin

Zang Aimin is Vice Mayor of Qingdao, Executive Vice-President of the Sailing Committee (Qingdao) of Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad and Executive Member of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.

Born in Wulian, Shandong Province, in August 1952, Zang holds a Master's degree in Population and Development from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

In the early years, Zang took posts at Changwei Medical College, including instructor, staff director on obstetrics and gynecology, physician and administrator of the scientific research dept., and deputy chief of the personnel section. Zang's previous positions also included Director of Qingdao Municipal Public Health Bureau; and Director of Qingdao Administration Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
