Tang Xiaoquan

Tang Xiaoquan serves as Executive Vice-President of the Beijing Organizing Committee of the Games of XXIX Olympiad. She is also President of Executive Board and Vice-President of China Disabled Persons' Federation.

Born in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, in May 1947, Tang holds a bachelor's degree in Economic Management from the Central Party School.

Tang's previous occupations included Deputy Secretary of CPC Beijing Luxun High School branch; Secretary of Beijing's Xicheng District Education Bureau of the Committee of Communist Youth League of China (CYLC), later of CYLC Beijing's Xicheng District Committee; Party Secretary at Beijing Xicheng Catering Company; Director of the general office and legislative affairs office of Xicheng District; Chairman of the China Rehabilitation Research Centre for Deaf Children; Director and Party Secretary of the China Rehabilitation Research Centre.

Tang served as BOCOG Vice-President prior to the recent appointment.
