Yang Shu'an

Yang Shu'an serves as Executive Vice-President of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).

He is also Executive Vice-President of International Table Tennis Federation; Deputy Secretary-General of China Sports Development Study Society (CSDSS); Vice-President of the following organizations: All-China Sports Federation, the Chinese Olympic Committee, Chinese Table Tennis Association, Chinese Badminton Association and Chinese Swimming Association.

Born in Shaanxi province in August 1957, Yang graduated from Xi'an Sports College in 1982, Yang served as Vice-President of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) prior to the recent appointment.

Yang's previous occupations included Deputy Director of the 2nd Training and Competition Division of the National Sports Commission (now State General Administration of Sports or SGAS); Chief of the Table Tennis and Badminton Administration Centre and of Athletics Sports Division under SGAS; and Assistant Minister of the SGAS.
