Jiang Xiaoyu

Jiang Xiaoyu serves as Executive Vice-President of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).

Born in Beijing in April 1948, Jiang graduated from Beijing Normal College (now the Capital Normal University). His previous professions include Secretary of Chinese Communist Youth League (CYLC) branch at Beijing Normal College (now the Capital Normal University); Deputy Secretary of CYLC Beijing Municipal Committee; Executive Vice Dean of Beijing Youth Politics College; Deputy Director of Publicity Dept. of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee; Party Secretary and Director of the Beijing Municipal Culture Bureau; Party Secretary of Beijing Chaoyang District; member of the Standing Committee, and Director of Publicity Dept. of Beijing Municipal Party Committee.

Jiang served as BOCOG Vice-President and Director of the Department of Media and Communications prior to the current appointment.
